Janie L. Canner, DO
Board Certified Pediatrician
Dr. Canner graduated magna cum laude from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She completed her pediatric residency at Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL.
Following residency, Dr. Canner worked for 2 years as a pediatric hospitalist at Edward Hospital in Naperville, then practiced as a general pediatrician in Columbus, OH for 3 years before joining Children's Health Partners in 2008.
Dr. Canner has special interests in preventive care, newborn and early childhood care, and adolescent medicine. She is committed to partnering with families to support children's health and development from infancy through adolescence.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Canner enjoys running, cooking, reading and spending time outdoors. She lives in Downers Grove with her 3 boys and enjoys staying active and involved in family life.
