Ibuprofen (Motrin or Advil)

Ibuprofen can be safely given to infants and children over the age of 6 months for fever, pain, or discomfort.

Do not give ibuprofen for longer than 72 hours without discussing your child's condition with our office.

Ibuprofen Dosing Chart

Ibuprofen can be dosed up to every six hours.

1 teaspoon = 5 ml
1/2 teaspoon = 2.5 ml
